Blogging Before Bedtime

Finally found some time to do a little blogging.  I recently began a new blog devoted to our condo renovation:  http://ourcondospace.blogspot.com  

I've also added new items to both our Crate and Barrel registry and Target registry.  It was so hard to know what we needed until we found our condo.  Now that Michael is all moved in, we've quickly realized that cooking without pots and pans doesn't go over very well :)

Save the Date cards were mailed today...  thank you Sylvia Diaz for your beautiful design...  I cannot wait to see the design for the wedding invitations.  

Now all we need are tuxedos, flowers, party favors, a judge to marry us, marriage license, passport for Michael and cruise to the Caribbean!  

Antonio - Banderas

It's been quite a while since my last post...  Michael and I have been extremely busy and stressed!  I've been pretty private about our house hunting...  I'm finally comfortable with sharing the news...

We are closing escrow on Monday / Tuesday this coming week (We THINK!) Hopefully this time around things will go smoothly.  I'm still skeptical but things are looking positive.

We did our final walk through on Saturday and we are ready to move forward with closing.  Wish us luck!  The purpose of the Antonio - Banderas Title is because the intersection by the condo is Antonio Parkway and Banderas...lol.  I love that. :)

Wedding plans are coming along as well.  Michael's roommate Sylvia has offered to design our Save the Date cards and invitations, so I'm super happy about that.  Sylvia is an amazing designer and I'm sure she will do an amazing job.

My Life as a Garbage Disposal

So I've decided that people think I'm a garbage disposal...

I have an issue with chocolate...  I LOVE chocolate.  Does that mean any left over chocolate should be given to me?  Every time I turn around at work someone has left a piece of chocolate cake, brownie, candy bars, etc. on my desk. 

My next wedding dress fitting should be interesting.  :)  I seriously cannot gain a pound because my dress is so form fitting.  Stop torturing me people!  Keep the chocolate away...  please!  

Updates...

Since my last blog entry we have had quite a bit going on...

I went to my first wedding dress fitting.  I was worried my dress would look different or I wouldn't love it as much as I originally did.  I was pleasantly surprised to see the dress I fell in love with a few months ago.  The fitting went smoothly.

We have pretty good news about a condominium in Rancho Santa Margarita...  I will share this news in the near future (30 days) if all goes well.  :)

We took our engagement photos a few weeks ago...  our photographer is still working on putting our slideshow together and OF COURSE I will post the link to the slideshow as soon as our photos are posted.

Property Virgins

Mike and I finally met with our realtor Zen 2 weeks ago.  We went over what we're looking for and in what areas.  We're hoping to find something in the South Orange County area,  which means...  no more commute for me!!!  

This last weekend we went and looked at a few condos/townhomes in Rancho Santa Margarita.  One of the condos was remodeled and really nice, but I think we need to keep looking.  

Its going to be interesting to see what our place will be like.  Mike has very modern taste and I'm somewhere in between modern and traditional.  I'm so excited to decorate and mix our styles.
